Holidays in Croatia are amazing: mixed apartment prices and a wide selection
The Croatian coast remains a popular destination for holidaymakers, but apartment prices range widely and vary greatly between different parts of the country. The Kvarner Gulf and the central and southern parts of Dalmatia are more expensive, while Istria offers slightly cheaper options. However, the prices depend not only on the geographical location, but also on the size of the apartment, its comfort and the distance from the sea.
Apartment prices start from 40-45 euros per night and can reach the level of 200 euros. The development of prices is influenced by the popularity of the given place, the distance from the sea, and when the owner entered the market. Due to new constructions, the market is constantly expanding, and the rental of apartments is the only source of income in many places.
Istria: In the Pula/Pula area, a 100-110 square meter apartment close to the beach is offered for 1600-1700 euros for a week.
Zadar/Zadar: Here, a 34 square meter apartment 10 meters from the beach can be rented for 961 euros.
Dubrovnik: With similar features, prices are around 800-1000 euros.
Those who are willing to search 5-10 kilometers further from the coast can find accommodation cheaper by 5-10% or even more. In the hillier parts, you can find smaller accommodations for up to 500-600 euros in the high season.
Pula: Prices range from 35 to 80 euros per night.
Rovinj: Apartments here are priced between 70-90 euros, while in elegant Opatija the daily rate can be up to 120-130 euros.
Dalmatia
Northern part (Ribarica): Prices range from 70 to 130 euros.
Zára area: The price of apartments here is 55-80 euros per day.
Kastela Bay before Split: Prices range from 50 to 90 euros.
Dubrovnik: Prices here range from 50 to 180 euros per night.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was recently on the island of Sipan, which is located opposite Dubrovnik. Prices here are similar to popular tourist destinations. According to Tripadvisor, an apartment with a covered terrace and a sea view, which is 200-250 meters from the sea, costs 125 euros per day for five people.
