Three times more resources to support organic farming
Compared to the previous EU budgetary cycle three times more, 60 billion HUF support will be allocated to support organic farming.
The support of organic farming can increase employment as well – Mezei Dávid, Deputy Minister of State for the Prime Minister's Office told M1 news channel on Sunday.
According to him, the amount of land used for organic farming increased in Central and Eastern Europe, for example in the Czech Republic from few percent to 10 percent, while in Hungary, however, did not change significantly, organic farming is taking place on 120-130 thousand hectares. (MTI)
