The Hungarian dairy sector receives three billion HUF support from the EU
The European Union on Monday decided on the new support package of 500 billion euros for the milk sector. Hungary will be given 2.7 percent (9.5 million euros) of the amount, which is about 3 billion HUF – the Minister of State for the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
Czerván György underlined that thanks to the 2.7 percent support, the Hungarian dairy sector could benefit from the package over the 1.1 percent average of the European Union. The 3 billion HUF will be spent by the farmers to maintain production levels. (MTI)
