The ULT Magyarország has offered a three-year tobacco production contract to the growers
The ULT (Universal Leaf Tobacco) Magyarország Zrt. announced a three-year tobacco production contract to its close to 700 producers, the US-owned company informed the farmers on Thursday in Nyiregyháza.
Fekete Tibor, the agronomic director of the company, said that by the year 2020, the Hungarian government will provide 5 billion forints annually to the sector, and this opportunity will be exploited to ensure sustainable tobacco production in the future. (MTI)
