After three bad years, comes the fourth
2009 was a very bad year for the trade, traders, consumers and suppliers, and the first half of 2010 is prospected to be weak also – said Vámos György, the Secretary-General of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) to MTI.
The Secretary-General of the National Trade Association (OKSZ) said that after 2007 and 2008, 2009 is the third disastrous year of trade. The association calculated that on the basis of the 2009 forecasts of 6-7 percent GDP decline, the commercial consumption will fall to such an extent.
The decline in trade was larger than it was expected and the decrease of household consumption in the first three quarter this year was 7.9 percent – reports MTI.
