Romanian retail sales increased by three percent in the first quarter
According to the raw and calendar adjusted data, the volume of the Romanian retail sales increased by three percent in the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period of 2014 – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Tuesday.
The turnover of food products, beverages and tobacco products increased by 8.5 percent, while fuel sales increased by 3.7 percent. The sales of non-food products decreased by 1.6 percent, compared to the first quarter of the last year. (MTI)
