The Hungarian breweries produced 130 billion HUF worth beers last year

According to the Céginfo.hu database, operated by the Wolters Kluwer Kft. and Napi.hu, there are more than seventy companies in Hungary that carry out beer cooking as main profile. The companies since 2011 have achieved 120-133 billion HUF overall revenue, The overwhelming majority of the revenue is generated by the three largest factories.

According to the datas of Céginfo.hu there are 72 beer breweries in Hungary, but more than 90 percent of the revenues are by three large factories, the Dreher, Heineken and Borsodi. These three companies in 2013 generated revenues of 30-50 billion HUF, while the fourth largest player the Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt. only had a 5.4 billion HUF revenue last year.
