The Ministry of Rural Development would increase pork consumption with three kgs in one year
Pork consumption should have been increased by three kilogrammes in one year in Hungary. In oredr to reach this goal a campaign will be launched to encourage consumption – Fazekas Sándor, Minister for Rural Development announced at a press conference on Wednesday in Budapest.
Fazekas Sándor told that the annual per capita pork consumption is around 25 kilogrammes currently. This amount in the nineties of the last century was three times this size – he added.
The marketing action is part of the ministry pig's strategic program. The implementation of this plan, has been already started by the ministry. (MTI)
