Euro zone’s consumer confidence is on its three-year peak
Despite the Irish and the Greek crisis, increasingly strong consumer confidence can be seen in the eurozone. According to the datas of the European Commission published on Monday; the index measuring the confidence rose to its almost three years peak in November.
On the basis of the Commission’s experts estimations; the index increased to minus 9.5 points, from the minus 10.9 points of October. It is the highest since December 2007. A year earlier, the index was minus 17 points.
According to the preliminary results of the investigation of the Brussels Commission; consumer confidence strengthened in the whole EU in November. The indicator improved from minus 11.5 points to minus 11.1 point – reports privatbankar.hu.
