Euro area inflation reached a three-and-a-half-year low in April
Three and a half years ago, the lowest inflation occurred in the eurozone in April, according to a report published by Eurostat, the European Union’s statistical office, on Wednesday.
In April, according to Eurostat’s final data, instead of the previous 0.4 percent, annual inflation fell to 0.3 percent, the lowest since August 2016, from the 0.7 percent of March in the 19 member states of the European Union. (MTI)
