In line with its strategic goals, AutoWallis is further strengthening its position in the automotive retail sector after reaching an agreement on the sale of Lexus. The region’s leading integrated automotive retail and mobility service provider opened its first Lexus showroom in Győr, thus increasing the number of brands represented by the company to thirty.

The AutoWallis Group, listed in the Premium category of the Budapest Stock Exchange, is further strengthening its domestic retail position after reaching an agreement on the sale of Toyota’s premium car brand, Lexus. AutoWallis’ first Lexus dealership opened its doors to customers in Győr, further increasing AutoWallis’ market share in the premium passenger car segment.

The 360 square meter Lexus car dealership and service center also includes a service point in addition to the showroom. The move is in line with AutoWallis’ strategic goal of continuing to grow through business development in addition to organic expansion and acquisitions. Péter Antal, Head of AutoWallis Retail Business , said that the agreement is an important milestone in the history of the AutoWallis Group, after the company, which is present in 17 countries in the region, increased the number of brands it represents to thirty through the cooperation with Lexus and further increased its market presence in the premium car segment.

Western Hungary has significant customer potential, and the demand for premium vehicles is also increasing year by year – Győr was chosen taking into account these market trends and economic factors. The region has been a priority for the Hungarian stock exchange car company: AutoWallis Iniciál has been selling vehicles and offering related services in four major cities (Győr, Mosonmagyaróvár, Sopron, Szombathely) for decades, and this spring it also opened the first BYD sales point outside the capital in Győr. Péter Antal added that they would like to expand to other regions of the country, which is why they are also looking for further development opportunities.
