British inflation accelerates
According to a report by the British Bureau of Statistics (ONS) on Wednesday, the twelve-month consumer price index (CPI) excluding housing costs rose 6.2 percent last month to 5.5 percent in January, 5.4 percent in December and 5.1 per cent in November, after 4.2 percent in October and 3.1 percent in September.
