Thirty tonnes of pig meat was blocked by Nébih
The National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih) forbidden the marketing of thirty tons of frozen pork, after a check held at a wholesale warehouse in Budapest – Nébih informed MTI on Thursday.
The Communication states that immediate destruction of 12 tons of frozen pork meat and meat products was ordered and a further 18 tonnes of frozen product was seized.
Severe food hygiene irregularities were found at he warehouse therefore its activities were suspended. (MTI)
