Croatian pork prices may increase by one-third

In Croatia a quarter less corn and soybean crops are expected, compared to last year – shows the latest estimate of the statistical office. The Chamber of Agriculture expects an even bigger loss.
According to the datas of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics, this year 25 percent less corn and soy, 18 percent less sugar beet and 4 percent less sunflower harvest is expected in Croatia – the Glas Slavonije newspaper wrote. (Magyar Nemzet Online, MTI)
