Obesity is a very expensive endemic
According to a December 2010 report; every second EU citizen is overweighted, 15 adult and 20 children out of hundred Hungarians are severely obese in Hungary, the obesity-related professional expenses are estimated at 25 billion HUF.
The European Union would slow down the weight gain of the population, by using power. Obesity has huge health and social costs. But the food lobby, and a number of other industries are increasingly discovering the XXL target group for themselves – reports Figyelő.
