NAV seized fake perfumes and cosmetics in Budapest
Large quantities of fake branded perfumes, sunglasses, cosmetics and loudspeakers were seized by the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) in Budapest, causing damage to rightholders of nearly one billion forints, the tax authority announced on Thursday.
According to the announcement, NAV staffers found more than 41,000 perfumes, 16,000 sunglasses, nearly 5,000 cosmetics and 250 bluetooth speakers in a warehouse in Budapest, which experts have clearly identified as counterfeits.
The tax authority seized the counterfeit goods and instituted proceedings for infringement of industrial property rights. (MTI)
