Counterfeit pálinkas were withdrawn from trade
The Animal Health Directorate of the Bács-Kiskun county Government Office withdrew counterfeit pálinkas from the market. The counterfeit pálinkas were produced by the Kecskeméti Likőripari Zrt. – the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) informed MTI on Tuesday.
The bureau suspended the producing and marketing activities of the Kecskeméti Likőripari Zrt. immediately.
At the company, peach, pear or plum brandy was “produced” from mixed pálinkas. In addition, the tested pálinka items contained not fruit origin alcohol. (MTI)
