Lego won the lawsuit against counterfeiting in China

Several world brands are fighting – mostly – against Chinese counterfeits, which cause enormous damage to the original manufacturing companies.

Lego is one of the world’s most popular toy manufacturers. The Danish company’s sales in 2016 reached a record.

Lego has sold 75 billion building lego blocks worldwide, and their favorite model was the Star Wars Millenium Falcon. Lego has plants in several countries, including Hungary. In July, origo reported that the turnover of the Nyíregyháza factory in 2016 was 32.9 billion forints. The result also increased, reaching 788 million forints. (origo)
