NAV seized fake perfumes and untaxed cigarettes
About four million forints worth of perfume and three million forints worth of tobacco were seized by employees of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) during an inspection of a Romanian truck on the M1 motorway, a spokesman for the authority’s deployment directorate told MTI on Tuesday.
Juhászné Prantner Etelka wrote that NAV employees found more than a thousand counterfeit perfumes of various brands in the vehicle, as well as 175 cartons of untaxed cigarettes. The financiers have initiated proceedings in the case. (MTI)
