British scam gang stole millions of euros from Spanish hotels with fake food poisoning complaints
The Spanish gendarmerie detained seven members of a British gang in Mallorca, who are suspected to stole millions of euros from Spanish hotels with fake food poisoning complaints.
According to investigators, the method of the group was the following: British tourists on the island were convinced to complain to the travel organizer after they returned home for food poisoning. (Fehér Krisztina, MTI)
