Hamburger tax: “no unhealthy food, just unhealthy nutrition”
The hamburger tax was not firstly proposed by the government, but it was suspected that they like the idea – said Csontos Csaba, Corporate Relations Director of Nestlé Hungária Kft. He believes that consumers may be victims of the tax.
“Last summer, the Strategic Alliance for the Hungarian Hospitals raised avareness first on this tax” – told Csontos Csaba to Világgazdaság Online. “But last year only a few products were mentioned” – added the professional.
According to market participants; the preliminary plans of the hamburger tax will be introduced, in order to increase the revenue side of the budget – reports Világgazdaság Online.
