The typical blue grape varieties of the Villány wine region will soon be harvested
In the last days of August, some farmers can start harvesting the typical blue grape varieties of the area in the Villány wine region – the secretary of the mountain village council of the approximately 2,500-hectares viney production area told MTI.
Nagy Gergely said that the harvesting of the white grape varieties present in the area in negligible quantities started already in the middle of August, and then the real harvest period in Villány starts with the harvest of the Portuguese red wine known as the peculiarity of the wine region. (MTI)
