DM to open first store in Bulgaria

Five to seven stores are reported to follow in the course of the year, the next ones in Vidin and Yambol.

 German drugstore retailer dm is
expected to open its first store in Bulgaria, in the town of Plovdiv,
by the end of January. "The degree of urbanisation (in
Bulgaria) is quite high. With just some 10 stores we could reach the
largest part of the population," dm in Austria, which is in
charge of its international expansion, is quoted in Lebensmittel
Zeitung.
