The extent of government involvement soon to be revealed

The whole industry was waiting for the end of Wednesday's cabinet meeting. The amount to be given to entrepreneurs to replace the cash registers will be decided there. According to the communication of the Prime Minister's Office the meeting will end at around 8 pm.

The National Economy Minister on Tuesday told that the amount of compensation is still debated, but they do not want this to be an obstacle for the introduction of the new system. He also told that the support of the state is on agenda as well. Varga Mihály Finance Minister believes that the 31 May deadline can be realized as well as the targeted 90 billion HUF fiscal revenue.
