Meat-free pork may be coming soon
US-based Impossible Foods is launching a new line of pork imitations with meat-free pork and sausages to win Asian consumers as the company focuses on international expansion this year – origo wrote after CNBC.
The meatless sausage will debut in January at 139 American Burger King restaurants. Burger King, owned by Restaurant Brands International, has been selling Impossible Burgers nationwide since August. According to reports, the sales at restaurants where the products of Impossible Foods are available increased by 4.8 percent. (origo)
