Hungarian fish product won the SIAL d’Or Global
Péter Palotás, managing director of PLP Hungary Kft. spoke to our magazine about the huge success of their Selfish product in France. He told that the average buyer does not know how to prepare fish, does not trust many available fresh fish products and detests the smell of fish while cooking, not to mention fish bones. Selfish solves all these problems: this fresh product is available in traditional retail units, can be prepared fast and easy, at the same time offering a great culinary experience. The concept is successful on the world stage, no wonder that Selfish won the SIAL d’Or Global in October. In the Christmas season a new Selfish product appears in shops: deboned carp filet.
