The Agricultural Marketing Center (AMC) will start its program series promoting fish consumption in Kiskőrös on Saturday, AMC announced to MTI on Friday.

The Kapj rá! roadshow awaits visitors at the Danube–Tisza Agricultural Expo and Gastronomy Festival, which will last the entire weekend, with programs for children and adults, as well as fish fillet tastings. The campaign, which consists of 8 stations, will reach other parts of the country in the spring and summer, including the Balaton region and Pannonhalma, they wrote.

The organizers hope that their initiative will change consumer attitudes and that fish can become a regular part of the diet, not just a food associated with one-off occasions and festive events. In Hungary, fish farming is carried out on approximately 26 thousand hectares, which ensures that less healthy, daily consumed dishes can be replaced with fish dishes

– they added.

The program series, created with EU and budget co-financing, will reach consumers in addition to traditional media appearances on social media and through gastronomic collaborations. Further events will be announced on the Kapj rá! social page – the announcement reads.
