The Kapj rá! roadshow will be held at the Danube–Tisza Agricultural Expo and Gastronomy Festival, which will last the entire weekend, with programs for children and adults, as well as fish fillet tastings. The campaign, which consists of 8 stations, will reach other parts of the country in the spring and summer, including the Balaton region and Pannonhalma, they wrote. The organizers hope that their initiative will change consumer attitudes and that fish can become a regular part of the diet, not just a food associated with one-off occasions or festive events. In Hungary, fish farming is carried out on approximately 26 thousand hectares, which ensures that less healthy, daily consumed dishes can also be replaced with fish dishes, they added. The program series, co-financed by the EU and the budget, will reach consumers not only through traditional media appearances but also through social media and gastronomic collaborations. Further events will be announced on the Kapj rá! social page, the announcement reads.
