Thanksgiving conference: poultry meat will become the number one source of animal protein

The Hungarian turkey Association, the member association of the Poultry Product Council held a conference today, one day before the US Thanksgiving clebrations, with the participation of M. Andre Goodfriend, temporary charge d'affaires of the US Embassy and Bradwin Niblock, the commercial attaché of the Canadian Embassy.

At the meeting about, in addition to the speeches on Thanksgiving the most important issues of the turkey industry were discussed as well. The participating experts stressed that a nationwide social welfare and public health program is needed to promote and encourage egg, milk and poultry meat consumption, even with such tax policies that support the goal.
