Homeless people will operate rural lodging houses in Italy
Tourism is combined with solidarity in Italy. Homeless people will run a rural lodging house in Tuscany.
Italy’s first rural lodging house, operated by homeless people will open its doors on June 18 in Serravalle Pistoiese, Pistoia.
A non-profit organization converted a 15th century building into a lodging house in the hills of Tuscany. The financial assistance was provided by individuals. The hotel management has been entrusted to twelve homeless, who will live and work in the hostel. (Sárközy Júlia, MTI)
