The FM would register the Chimney Cake as a Traditional Special Product

The Ministry of Agriculture (FM) acts for EU registration of Chimney Cake as a “Traditional Special Product” – the ministry told MTI on Wednesday.

The registered name can be used by all economic operators regardless of geography location. A professional dialogue takes place in this matter – the ministry wrote.

According to the communication, the submitted application for registration has a national stage, followed by a two-month EU phase. (MTI)
