AGROmashEXPO, the biggest agricultural trade exhibition in Hungary
AGROmashEXPO and AgrárgépShow (“agricultural machines show”) will again welcome visitors with a full house on 25-28 January, 2017. Occupying the entire area of HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center, over 300 exhibitors will showcase their novelties on 38,000 square metres, so visitors will enjoy the widest possible range of choice. They will be given an in-depth look into what the Hungarian agricultural machine industry has on offer in terms of input and logistics, enabling them to make optimal sales decisions.
35th AGROmashEXPO, 50-year-old HUNGEXPO
It is now the 35th time that AGROmashEXPO is organized by HUNGEXPO which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017. This jubilarian expo has been the most prestigious agricultural exhibition in Hungary since 1973, with a high awareness and recognition abroad as well. After the initial period of biennial organization, it was soon adjusted to growing market needs and held annually in late January during the low agricultural season, so that professionals and farmers could observe the supply before making an investment. At first, tractors were mostly showcased outdoors until the early 90s. Since then, they have exclusively been presented indoors, so exhibitors and visitors can enjoy a sophisticated environment, regardless of the weather.
Agro-industrial muster
After integrating MEGFOSZ (“Hungarian Association of Agricultural Tools and Machinery Dealers”)-owned AgrárgépShow (“agricultural machines show”), AGROmashEXPO has become the top event of the agricultural industry. The expo features a great spectrum of exhibitors from market leading companies and brands to small enterprises offering niche services. In addition to agricultural machinery, a wider choice of seeds and other propagating materials will be on display along with pesticides, fertilisers and pest control products, while agricultural electronics, measurement technologies and automation devices are also presented by an increasing number of exhibitors.
The expo also showcases the novelties of Hungarian machine manufacturers presented together in a collective display via the cooperation of MEGOSZ (“Hungarian Association of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers”). Dealers will present the novelties of major international brands, including several award-winning machines which will be displayed in Hungary for the first time after their grand expo presentations abroad.
In 2017, Agricultural Marketing Centre will have its own standalone tent again, offering insights into development and market opportunities as well as trade novelties.
Programs, International Product Development Awards, Co-exhibitions
Professional presentations by our trade partners will ensure that not only products and services receive attention, but also that problems and solutions for the most topical issues are addressed. The programme details are still in the finalization phase but the following items will definitely be included:
Exhibitors again submitted a great number of applications for the HUNGARIAN AND INTERNATIONAL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AWARDS. 4 Product Development Grand Prizes and 10 Special Prizes were awarded by the professional jury this time. The awards will be presented in the expo as part of the opening ceremony. The winners will be revealed to the visitors before the expo, so they can specifically search for the awarded products among the stands.
Just like in previous years, Hungary’s greatest agricultural expo has such partners as MAGYAR KERT (“Hungarian Garden”; machines and tools of landscaping and gardening) and SZŐLÉSZET ÉS PINCÉSZET (“Viticulture and Cellar Management”; winery technology exhibition).
