If carnival, then pork!
The Ministry of Agriculture (AM), the Agricultural Marketing Center (AMC) and the National Association of Mangalica Breeders (MOE) are promoting the consumption of pork this year again. The aim of the campaign is to draw consumers’ attention to the importance of consuming pork and, within it, the excellent Hungarian variety, mangalica.
Tarpataki Tamás, Deputy State Secretary for Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, emphasized that the coronavirus pandemic has highlighted the importance for all of us of having sufficient, reliable and high-quality food available at all times. In the changed circumstances, the government has taken a number of measures to ensure a continuous supply of consumers as a result of the coordinated work of producers, processors and traders.
