Zsolt Gyulay: the tobacco shop system is working well
According to Zsolt Gyulay, CEO of NDN Tobacco Trade Non-profit Zrt., the government achieved their goal with the new tobacco product retail system: before 1 July 2013 58 percent of underage consumers had access to tobacco products but this ratio is a mere 12 percent today, thanks to constant inspections by the authorities. Instead of the nearly 40,000 selling points there are only abut 6,000 now. Still, 98.5 percent of the population can get tobacco products in locations close to where they live
