The Hungarian Wine Academy announces the winner of the “Winemaker of the Year 2016 in Hungary” title
On 2 December 2016 at 12 pm, the winner of the “Winemaker of the Year 2016 in Hungary” title was announced at the press conference of the Hungarian Wine Academy.
The 2016 Winemaker of the Year Award Winner has become Mészáros Pál, from the Szekszárd wine region.
Mészáros Pál and his family has more than 120 hectares. The results of the Mészáros Borház és Pince are remarkable at international level as well: countless gold medals at wine competitions such as the Challenge International du Vin, the Monde Selection, and the VinAgora International Wine Competition.
