Consumer prices accelerated in Germany
Consumer prices in Germany rose at an accelerating pace.
The German Federal Bureau of Statistics (Destatis) said in its final release on Thursday that consumer prices in January increased by 1.7 percent year-on-year, in line with analysts’ expectations. Consumer prices increased by 1.5 percent in December and with another 1.1 percent in November. (MTI)
