Broadband development projects speeding up
Invitel subscribers can enjoy the advantages of the broadband optical fibre network sooner than scheduled. Deputy CEO Marianne Langsteiner informed that the network will be installed in 160,000 households – 40,000 more than originally planned – by the end of the year. The broadband network will cover half of Invitel’s service providing area. At the moment Invitel finances its own development projects, but the company is also busy working on the Digital Hungary grant programmes.
