Analysts are expecting accelerating wage growth
The pace of wage growth can accelerate in the public sector due to the current wage settlements and the constantly rising demand for labor in the private sector is – analysts told MTI on Wednesday, commenting the data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
According to the flash report of the Central Statistical Office (KSH), average gross earnings increased by 6.9 percent in August, while the net earnings – due to the 1 percentage point reduction in the rate of personal income tax – increased by 8.5 percent, compared to the same month of the previous year. In the previous month, the pace of annual growth was 5.1 and 6.7 percent. (MTI)
