Inflation accelerates in the euro zone
Inflation continued to accelerate in the euro zone – reports Eurostat. In January, the 12-month consumer price index value rose from 2.2 percent to 2.4 percent, so Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank may once again express his concerns about inflation risks at next (Thursday's) rate-setting meeting.
According to the datas of Eurostat; inflation has not been so high since October 2008 in the eurozone like in January this year (2.4 percent).
