The number of mini-breweries increasing rapidly in the Czech Republic
The number of mini-breweries increasing rapidly in the Czech Republic, their number increased by 56 since the beginning of 2015 and amounted to 302 now – said Jan Surán, chairman of the Czech-Moravian Association of the mini-breweries said in Brno on Thursday, at the Salima international food industry exhibition.
According to Surán, the number of mini-breweries may be doubled soon. At the exhibition, more than 30 mini-breweries will present their products. According to the Czech legislation in force, a mini brewery is a brewery that cooks up to 10 thousand hectoliters of beer annually. Until 10 thousand hectoliters the breweries are taxed at a discount. (Kokes János, MTI)
