German food exports to the Czech Republic are increasing rapidly: from January to September this year, increase was 12.3 percent, on an annual basis, so almost 25 percent of the food imports of the Czech Republic originates from Germany – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Wednesday.
Polish food imports also increased, but at a slower pace, compared to the recent years: in comparison with the same period of last year, the growth was 6.3 percent. According to the analysis of the statistical office, this is mainly related to the recent scandals in Polish food.
