Gyopáros Alpár: stores operating in settlements with a population of less than 5,000 can apply for operating support
Grocery stores and/or butcher shops operating in settlements with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants can submit their applications for operating support, the government commissioner responsible for the development of modern settlements announced on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
Alpár Gyopáros said in the video: a minimum of one and a maximum of three million forints of support can be requested for operating costs, overhead costs, wage costs, rent, maintenance and freight costs, accountant’s fees, the purchase of a new cash register or the development of an existing one, office supplies, and cleaning supplies.
Invoices generated between March 1, 2025 and March 1, 2026 can be counted towards the support, he added.
According to the government commissioner,
the support is non-refundable, a lump sum, and applicants are not expected to contribute their own funds. Applications can be submitted between June 16 and July 16.
At the end of the video, Alpár Gyopáros encouraged all convenience stores and butcher shops to submit an application.
