Weak results for Adidas
Adidas had a poor second quarter in Western Europe, which makes the entire company's performance worse.
The second quarter revenue became 3.38 billion euros instead of the expected 3.43 billion euros. The decrease means a 3.8 percent decline compared to the same period of last year.
Although the gross profit margin was 50.1 percent, instead of the expected 49.3 percent, both the operating profit, as well as
the after-tax profit fell short of expectations. The latter became 172 million euros, compared to the 164 million euros of a year before and instead of the expected 175.8 million euros. (N. A., Világgazdaság)Related news
