Poor BMI data from the euro area
The Eurozone economy’s weakest performance in three months is indicated by the July IHS Markit Purchasing Manager Index -that was released on Monday by the London IHS Markit Research Institute.
In July, the Eurozone Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (BMI) was down to 53.2 points while previously 53.3 points was indicated. The index stood at 53.6 point in the previous month.
Markit released the final BMI data for the manufacturing industry on Thursday last week, which is down to 46.6 points from the 47.6 points from the previous month. (MTI)
