TV in the kid’s room makes them fat!
According to a recent study, about half of American children have a TV in their room at the age of seven, but the 24-hour TV usage cannot be controlled by the parent – mipszi.hu wrote.
According to Iowa State University staff, the TV in the kid’s room not only ruins the waist circumference of the seven-year-olds, but these children are even performing worse at school. This is only a matter of concern because, according to a recent study, about half of the American children have a TV in their room at the age of seven. The article was published by Professor Douglas Gentile in the Developmental Psychology journal, where he also called on parents not to have a TV set in the kid’s room if they did not want their children to get fat and spend all of their time in front of the screen instead of reading or learning.
