Practical training after 2020
In October there was an online conference organised by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK).

Well-trained and prepared students are promised
The topic was the future of vocational education and Zoltán Kiss, co-president of the Guild of Hungarian Restaurateurs (MVI) talked to our magazine about the most important things that were discussed. He told that the government wants to introduce a new, modernised vocational education system to ensure that students acquire the latest knowledge and skills and will stay in the trade they have chosen.
If a business is willing to receive students for training, after a basic training period students can prepare for the trade exams there in 100 percent, learning the trade in practice. Vocational schools will supervise whether the students keep making progress during the time spent there. Practical training places can also establish Sectoral Training Centres (ÁK), with which students can sign work contracts directly or they can contract with their place of practical training, which delegate certain tasks to the ÁKs they have established, e.g. administrative tasks, theoretical education, etc. //
