GVH: consumer protection affairs are in the lead
The Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) closed 62 cases in the first half of this year. Half of these cases – as in previous years – were consumer protection affairs – the competition authority told MTI on Tuesday.
Relatively high number of complaints arrived in connection with the informations of the consumer groups. GVH still believes that the prohibition of the activities of these groups is not merely a good answer to the problem, an appropriate regulation on the activities of these groups would be needed.
