GVH: MediaMarkt can acquire control over Tesco’s electronics business in nine stores
MediaMark can control the electronics business in Tesco’s nine stores – the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) told MTI on Friday.
According to the announcement, the GVH concluded that MediaMarkt’s acquisition of control over the electronics business of some Tesco stores would not lead to adverse competitive effects.
Following the transaction, the Media Markt Retail Cooperation Kereskedelmi Kft. can operate specialized shops selling technical consumer goods at nine locations within the selling spaces of the Tesco-Global Áruházak Zrt. (MTI)
