GVH survey: the safeguarding of competition brings savings to the consumers
The fact that the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) was safeguarding over the competition in the market, the consumers saved at least 58 billion HUF between 2008 and 2012 – Juhász Miklós, chairman of the Competition Authority said on Tuesday in Budapest.
The activities of the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) indicates to the merchants that it is worth to carry out their activities in compliance with the law.
During the tested period , the competition authority imposed fines of 17 billion HUF. Consumer savings were much more – added the President. (MTI)
