Auchan contra GVH
The Municipal Court of Justice of the Auchan Hungary Ltd., because the Office of Economic Competition (GVH) Procedure of the Competition Council fined HUF 30 million, claiming that the retail chains refused, despite repeated requests for information requested by the GVH. Previously, Auchan has released a catalogue of so-called “hungaricums”, suggesting that all products listed were of Hungarian origin, whereas according to GVH this was not the case.
